LOCATIONS

This Google map shows hotel, dorm, parking, and conference center locations.

On Tuesday, we will have events in three venues. 

  1. The Opening Session will take place in the LBJ Auditorium.
  2. Breakout sessions in the afternoon will take place at the Thompson Conference Center.
  3. The Reception and Poster Session will be at the Texas Science and Natural History Museum.

GETTING TO/FROM THE CONFERENCE CENTER

*GPS may send you to an address at Robert Dedman Dr. That is a campus internal address and does not have access to the parking lot. Use the Red River address.

Parking

  • Parking is FREE in Lot 40.
  • If you have access to a car while in Austin, please consider driving to and parking at the conference center, as space on the shuttles will be limited.

Shuttle Schedule

Pick up and drop off:

Hampton Inn & Suites Austin University/Capitol*

*Across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn Austin Univ/Cap District

Two small shuttles will be making as many round trips as possible to/from the conference center during the following times:

TUESDAY

Hampton Inn to Conf Center                 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.

Hampton Inn to Conf Center                 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

*There will not be shuttle service in the afternoon/evening.

WEDNESDAY

Hampton Inn to Conf Center                 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Conf Center to Hampton Inn                 5:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

THURSDAY

Hampton Inn to Conf Center                 6:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.

 

The number of trips the shuttles are able to make will be limited, especially with heavy traffic (which is common). Please be prepared with backup mode of transportation such as Uber, Lyft, etc.
