Site Coordinator
Lindsay Hammond serves as UTeach Expansion Site Coordinator, providing support to our Alabama universities as they work to implement the UTeach program.
Lindsay most recently spent five years at the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI), where she served as UTeach Program Manager. Prior to her time at NMSI, she worked on education initiatives at the George W. Bush Institute and managed the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries. Lindsay’s early career experiences include work on Capitol Hill, as well as on numerous political campaigns.
After spending a few years at Texas Tech University, she graduated from Angelo State University with a B.A. in Communication.
Lindsay enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two young children — preferably enjoying a craft brew — when it isn’t too hot!
